This class is geared toward adults who want to improve their overall fitness. Those who attend this class will increase strength, endurance, flexibility and improve posture in a safe and structured manner.
The goals of these classes are not only to improve strength and overall athleticism but also to instill a love of fitness training and knowledge of exercises that participants will feel comfortable using throughout life.
Please wear something that you can move around in and have a full water bottle or sports drink handy. If you have dumbbells and any resistance band "bring them!" If not, a bag or back-pack with books or canned goods works great for adding some resistance to your workouts. Other ideas are water bottles, milk jugs, laundry detergent containers and soup cans. Get creative or feel free to just use body weight if that seems right for you.
