Part Time Athletic Trainer & Social Media Director

Brookline, MA & Remotely

​​Precision Athletic Training LLC is an athletic training consulting company that provides educational opportunities and athletic training services for schools and events. We are seeking an energetic professional to join our small, active team of employees. This part time 12-month position will include 10 -15 hours of AT clinical work during the school year and 5-10 hours of social media management year round.

​On the clinical site, the AT will be responsible for operating a sound school-based sports health program for athletes in grades 4-8. Hours will be after school from 2:30pm-approximately 5:00pm, 4 days per week with 1 to 2 weekend events per school year. (Approximately 10 hours/week) This spring, the AT will only be responsible for intramural lacrosse and track only. During the 2021-2022 school year, sports may include: Phys Ed (injury care only), Flag Football Soccer, Field Hockey, Cross Country, Basketball, Wrestling, Ice Hockey, Lacrosse, Softball and Track.   

​Good candidates are experienced, positive, professional and enjoy working with young athletes. He or she celebrates diversity and can creatively manage challenges and think outside the box to ensure a safe environment for athletes in times of uncertainty.

​ Athletic Training Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Being present for games and practices as the schedule dictates

  • Eagerly attending to the medical needs of students and take the appropriate steps necessary to prevent, recognize, evaluate, and treat athletic (and at times) non-athletic injuries

  • Keeping accurate and complete records and documentation of encounters, rehabilitation, and treatment notes

  • Coordinating treatment plans for injured athletes and communicate injury status updates with parents, coaches, and the school health department

  • Referring athletes to specialized physicians for additional evaluations or treatment when necessary

  • Representing Precision Athletic Training and your assigned school well by maintaining a positive attitude while on the job, showing respect and professionalism

  • Assisting with Precision Athletic Training administrative duties as necessary including and not limited to timely and accurately recording hours worked, attending and helping at our educational events and 2 weekends each season of customer service

 

As the Social Media Director, the candidate may work from home or wherever convenient. The candidate will be responsible for implementing a social media strategy intended to grow and engage an audience of diverse athletic trainers, athletic directors, and athletes. Equally important will be developing interesting ways to promote sales of continuing education and fitness classes and merchandise.

 

Social Media Director Duties and Responsibilities:​

  • Develop engaging and appropriate digital content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts

  • Design and implement marketing sales to promote sales of services and products

  • Implement social media plans to attract new contractors or clients to work with the company

  • Daily postings for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn

  • Ensure all creative communications are professional, inclusive, are on brand, and deliver value for the company 

  • Engage with followers and monitor comments and feedback

​Applicants for this position must:

  • Be a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer

  • Have a current Massachusetts AT License

  • Have a valid Massachusetts driver’s license

  • Be ARC or AHA certified

  • Be Safe Sport and Concussion trained

  • Demonstrate proficient administrative skills 

  • Be able to implement ImPACT Testing

  • Possess excellent writing skills

  • Enjoy working with young athletes

  • Have excellent professional references
