Precision Athletic Training is an athletic training consulting company that provides educational opportunities and athletic training services for schools and events. We are seeking an accounting intern to help us in our office in Lynnfield, MA part time during the 2015-2016 school year. Our hours are flexible and much of the work can be done remotely once all training is complete. 



We are seeking a qualified intern with an educational background in accounting. The successful candidate will work directly on bookkeeping and business consulting projects. Approximately 10 hours per week will be required and many of the hours can be flexible. The following list is an example of projects planned for our intern: 


• Bookkeeping using QuickBooks 

• Managing Accounts Payable and Receivable 

• Monthly Bank Account Reconciliations 

• Preparing Contracts 

• Assisting with Scheduling 

• Administrative tasks such as filing, copying and organizing 

• Record keeping 

• Special Projects and Other duties as assigned 



• Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, or a graduate student pursuing a Masters of Accounting, Finance or Business Administration degree and/or appropriate balance of education and work experience 

• GPA of 3.25 or higher 

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Quickbooks, Excel, and Word 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

• Perform work accurately and in a time efficient manner, with strong attention to detail 

• Ability to work under close supervision and accept constructive feedback, making adjustments as directed 

• Ability to work with and maintain confidential information 

• Thoroughness and strong attention to detail and to ensure that work is complete and accurate
